I had to buy this slip lead because dog kept chewing his fabric slip lead if sitting & bored eg if I stopped to speak to someone, and therefore I needed to clip a chain lead to attach to a slip lead collar. I am used to Slip leads and use them correctly and effectively without harm to dog. I found this slip lead collar does not loosen easily after tweaking to check the dog, even if I shake it down, so I have to loosen it manually which is a nuisance. It is also quite thin and sturdy, more like wire which I didn’t like. The idea of a collar is good, just wrong fabric, thickness and weights design.

Second purchase of this item, perfect for me as can be attached to different leads as opposed to the all in one
